Chatsworth House
Standing on the east bank of the River Derwent, Chatsworth looks across to the low hills that divide the Derwent and Wye valleys.
The house, set in expansive parkland and backed by wooded, rocky hills rising to heather moorland, contains an important collection of paintings, furniture, Old Master drawings, neoclassical sculptures, books and other artefacts.
Graves Park
The Graves Park was founded and built in 1925. It's the perfect get-away with your family and friends.
Not only is it huge, green and luscious, it also provides a space for events, has volleyball courts, picnic shelters, slides and swings for the kids, beautiful waterfalls and an animal farm on-site!
Endcliffe Park
The Endcliffe Park was opened in 1887 to commemorate the jubilee of Queen Victoria.
It consists of parkland along with woodland, creating a perfect setting for a summer afternoon outside. It has a tennis court and a squash club for the visitors of the park.
Meersbrook Park
The Meersbrook Park is located on a steep hillside in Meersbrook. It offers an awestruck panoramic view over Central Sheffield, perfect for photographers and people who are visiting.
There are also two historic buildings located in the park, The Bishop's House and Meersbrook House. The Bishop's house is also open as a museum.
Rother Valley Country Park
The park is an open and huge space, comfortable for outdoor activities like cycling, walking, playing a sport, etc. There's a miniature train, exciting for kids and adults!
The Rother Vallery Country Park also has an area where you can feed birds and a farm where you can pet animals. A very exciting venture for families with kids and a huge group.
